For what it's worth I also purchased iPhoto on the iPad but time marches on I guess.

May 3, 2015 6:32 AM in response to danielfromchilworth1by jazcan,The new version is out & is part of your Photos app. Now, when you open a photo from any of your albums tap 'edit' and you will see your editing options along the bottom.

Here are some support pages to help you get started with PHOTO and conversion from. Found its easier to navigate apple support from a first page rather than continually searching the site. Apple does like to surprise people with changes.
