Q: With the new iPad Air 2, can the fingerprint delay of 48 hours be increased?

The new iPad air has a newer security feature that makes the user enter the passcode after 48 hours instead of using the fingerprint scan.  To me, this is rediculous and I'd like to change the length of time to a longer amount.  I have so many devices that I don't always use my iPad within 48 hours and to force me to use my passcode instead of my fingerprint makes the fingerprint feature useless!!  I've checked the settings and I can't seem to find anything that would allow me to adjust the time to a longer waiting period before forcing me to use my passcode versus my fingerprint.
Does anyone have a solution to this or are we stuck with the timeframe that Apple set?

Thanks everyone.
