Q: Photo Syncing - problem!
Hi
I am now running "Photos" on my Mac.
However, when I connect my iPhone and sync, the "old" iPhoto library is shown, including iPhoto events which I deleted.
The iPhone sync list does not show any of the Albums I have created in "Photos"
I have deleted iPhoto entirely, and so therefore the memory and library should no longer be picked up.
It is as if iTunes sync has somehow memorised the old iPhoto settings - iTunes is "pointed" towards "Photos"
This is driving me mad. I have tried deauthorising all old macs and reauthorising my newish mac, no change to this problem.
I am not using iCloud for Photos.
Help much appreciated - thank you

A few questions:
- Did you update to the newest iTunes?
- Is your current Photos Library the System Photos Library (the setting in Photos > Preferences, use as System Photos Library)? It should like this, when your library isopen in Photos:
- Check, if your Photos Library contains an old iPod Photo Cache:
If yes, remove it from the package: See this link: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203156
After setting the System Photos Library and removing any iPod Photo Cache, restart the Mac.
