Q: downloading photos from I phone

I am trying to download a few hundred photos from my I Phone 5 to my desktop MAC. After a few minutes it says, "I Phone quit unexpectedly" and no photos download. I tried turning off bluetooth. No photos even appear on the computer for me to select and download in batches. There are probably some videos in the mix of photos but I can't even get anything to come off the phone to the screen to select.

Hey jillaa,

That is not fun when you cannot get your pictures. I would take a look at the article below to try a different program to import your photos like Image Capture to get the photos to your Mac. Once they are on your computer, you can drag and drop the photos on the Photos app to import them there. Let me know if this works or need further assistance.

Really annoying that you can't import direct from you phone to Photos.

I am using Aperture just to import images.
