Q: Trackpad does not reconnect

I have two trackpads and two TB displays.  One at the office, the other at home. Since upgrading to Yosemite my MacBookPro often does not recognize one or the other trackpads. A reboot and reset is required. Is there a way to fix this, so that I can just close the lid and go office/home home/office without a reboot and a system reset in between?

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012)

OSX 10.10.3 (14D136)

The routine as follows:

Connect Trackpad at home (works)

Connect Trackpad at office (works)

Go back home track pad works no need to reconnect

Go back to the office Bluetooth does not see the Trackpad.

Remove the trackpad from the settings, Reboot / Reset the system / Find and pair the trackpad again

Really annoying. Any cure for that?
