Q: Ear Phone Socket Faulty

Since I don't have any ,music on my iPad, I rarely use earphones. However, when I attached phones to listen to the sound on a video, there was no sound Using earphones which work on my phone. I got theipad for Xmas and am unsure how I go about getting a repair or replacement. Can someone advise please? Am in the UK. THANK YOU.

I am sure it is frustrating to not be able to hear sounds through your headset when using it with your iPad. Let's see if we can get you back up and running. I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article -
