Q: Is it possible to get Activity Monitor icon on Menu Bar instead of Dock?

My question is like in topic.

Is it possible?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

I've never seen that option, however, depending on what information you want on you menubar, there are 3rd party options available.

I've been using the donation software MenuMeters http://www.ragingmenace.com/software/menumeters/ for many years.

It will display CPU, Disk, Memory and Network data.

I am not aware of any such option.

As an aside, unless you are having performance problems, monitoring activity is, IMHO, a waste of time.
