Q: Photo on iCloud doesn't seem to share faces
Hello
I have two computers and I enabled the share of my whole Photo library on iCloud from my computer A.
The computer B downloaded all the pictures at the max of resolution . (the internet traffic analysis, tests prove this fact). I enabled the whole transfer of the pictures on the computer B
The pictures are here, the folder as well on the computer B. But one thing is missing. None of the faces on the computer B are named. It seems names of the faces didn't travel to iCloud.
Is it a limitation of a (nevertheless less good) young product (Apple Photo) ? or bug ?
Thanks for sharing your experience or your skills,
Regards,
Franck.
Ps: sorry for my bad english, thats not my mother-tongue

Have a look at this support document:
Use Photos and iCloud Photo Library on multiple Mac computers - Apple Support
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204486
These items are available only on the Mac where you created them:
- Books, cards, and calendars
- Slideshows
- Keyword shortcuts
- Unused keywords
- Last imported album (this album contains photos you most recently imported on a specific Mac)
- Faces tiles and Faces data
So your Faces data are not supposed to sync across multiple Macs, but searchable keywords based on the Faces tiles.
You should be able to name the faces again quickly, based on the keywords.
