Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, you sent an email but it did not send across Wi-Fi and restarting fixes the issue. I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.

- Delete the affected email account from your device.
- Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
- Tap the affected email account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Add your account again.

I followed your advice, and deleted and reentered my mail account. I will let you know if this solves by problem after I test it over the next few days. So far the problem has only been erratic, and when I have been using my home wifi, so I'll have to see if it continues to be problematic or not.
