Q: i am currently doing a backup from my iphone 5 to icloud. it states i have 9 hours remaining and im at work. if i go to leave before its complete will it pick up where i left off?

I am currently doing a backup from my iphone5 to icloud and the estimated time remaining is 9 hours but im at work. If I go to leave before its completed will it pick up where I left off or have to start all over again?

    No, it will start a fresh backup, but that should not matter to you. Normal backups do not tsHe hours to complete, so you prolly had a really bad connection, anyway.

     

    IF you try at home, I would also suggest doing an additional backup via iTunes to your computer with Encrypion ON.

    I agree im at work where about a hundred people are prob accessing the wifi thus having such a delayed back up. but when i go home in 3 hours i will just start over. it only states 6.4 GB storage to back up so that shouldnt take long on my home wifi if im the only one connected
