Q: Can't empty Trash

Dear leroydouglas,

I've tried so many different ways but it does not work at all.

Oh by the way, one thing I forgot to mention that the file that I'm trying to erase is located in my external disk.

Once I eject disk, the file suddenly gone from the Trash folder but once I plug my external disk; the file reappear in the Trash folder.

Now, I just Put Back the file to the previous folder on my external disk.

Nothing else I could do, I think...

I'm a very beginner in Mac,

I'm afraid if I do such thing that mention on the page you recommend; I might lose other files that also located in the same folder.
