May 16, 2015 2:44 PM in response to mi_024by deggie,Did you let it charge for at least 30 minutes? Do so using the wall charger and then reset it (hold down the home and sleep buttons, wait for the Apple logo, let go of the buttons) while it is still connected to power.

May 16, 2015 3:02 PM in response to mi_024by deggie,Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes on your computer, try various USB ports (do not use a hub) and disconnect any other non-essential USB devices. Restart your computer before you connect.

If you try another cable and that doesn't work I would guess the battery has failed on your iPhone and you will need to get it replaced.
