Q: What do I do if I can't find Startup Disk in Disk Utility?

So I turned on my MacBook Pro and I got a Flashing Question mark Folder. I have tried to do the steps on this page: A flashing question mark or globe appears when you start your Mac - Apple Support.

When I am in Disk Utility no startup disk shows up only something called 'Mac OS X Base System'. Which when click Verify Disk it says everything is OK and will not let me repair the disk.

I have a Time Capsule Back up of my documents but when I try to restore from that I get to where it asks to Select a Drive and no Drives show up.

The same happens when I try to Reinstall OS X.

Any Help would be great.
