Q: apple watch

My watch keeps disconnecting to my phone.  I get a red triangle at the top with a line through it saying it is not connected.  I have reset the phone wifi, rest the watch and it will not connect.  It is very frustrating.  How do you pair a watch to a phone that has already been paired.  I can not get the watch to go into pair mode.  Thanks

    Hello KellerG,

If I understand correctly you have paired your Apple Watch to your iPhone, but the connection is intermittent. Once an Apple Watch is paired with a phone it cannot be paired with another unless you delete all the data from the phone as outlined in this article:

Unpair your Apple Watch and iPhone

Before you resort to that though, I would recommend you reset your network settings on the iPhone then test the issue again:

eset your Network Settings. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you’ve used before.

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

    All the very best,

    Sterling
