Q: logic remote does`t work

hello guys,

you always helped me and I am always reading through the posts here and i wish i could help you, but i can`t.

Also this time i hope someone can help me:

i used logic remote before i had my midikeybord, now i broke the keyboard and i would like to use LR instead, but:

i tried to connect it the normal way, and on the computer screen was a message "do you wanna connect ipad blah...blah" I pressed okay and on the ipad popped up an error message for like half a second and nothing happened.

I also tried over bluetooth, but nothing happened.

I already reinstalled logic remote on my ipad, and restarted my systems 1000 times.

hope someone can help me!!

(logic pro X 10.1, MBP late2011/4gb ram/2.7ghz intel I7/ )

Ps.: SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH.

In my experience, the connectivity is still the main issue with LR despite the "improved connectivity" statements in each upgrade. It works on my setup with not problem, even seeing multiple computers with multiple apps (LPX, GarageBand, MainStage), and then all of of a sudden it can't connect anymore, and I have to shut down, restart (sometimes multiple times, cross my fingers, and then (maybe) I will get it back. This can be very frustrating at times, because, if it works, it is great.

One factor might be the, how "clean" your WiFI signal is. How many other hotspots do have around you, operating on what channels, and also how many microwave ovens are on around you at time, plus the current constellation of the stars , ...

    Hope that helps

    1) Make sure both your iPad and Mac are running the latest versions of iOS and OS X respectively

    2) Make sure you are running the latest version of Logic Pro X

    3) Then read this User Tip

Downloading 'Essential or Additional Content' or the Logic Pro X app Tips

Note: In almost every case I'm aware of... the issue has been found to be caused by either a network related issue of some kind (Commonly a Router/WiFi problem or firewall setup) or an issue with permissions on the Mac in question....
