May 18, 2015 1:13 PM in response to lllaassby Grant Bennet-Alder,Pay careful attention to the word "Registered" when you are getting into 16GB modules sizes and above. Registered DIMMs do not work happily with non-Registered DIMMs, so all the non-Registered DIMMs generally have to be set aside.
In your case, the 16GB DIMMs you have are likely already Registered, so this will likely not be an issue for you.
