If you're experiencing an issue with an app you downloaded from the app store, then I'd like you to follow the steps in the article below. The only two items to avoid in this particular instance are both installing another app and deleting the app.

May 19, 2015 6:47 AMby lionel h.,I don't think this answers the question. The question is how to recover the recording. I have the same problem. In my case, the iPhone depleted the battery before the recording was stopped. When the battery was recharged, the recording gives this same error when I try to play the recording back.
