May 17, 2015 7:46 PM in response to uNiverse_by Loner T,1. Please check that you can get to the Software Update servers listed in Requirements for Software Update Service - Apple Support. You can run a network ping to each name listed to make sure you can get to all.
2. Check /etc/hosts and /private/etc/hosts file in OS X Terminal and verify that there are no entries for apple.com in either of these two files.
3. If your Mac allows the creation of USB installer, and you have a physical DVD of Windows, please ensure that you use Create an ISO image for Boot Camp from a Windows installation DVD - Apple Support to create the ISO.
4. Remove any external peripherals and hubs when creating the USB installer, to avoid confusing BCA. The USB should be directly attached to the Mac.

May 19, 2015 9:19 PM in response to uNiverse_by uNiverse_,★HelpfulI HAVE FOUND A SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM AND I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU TOO.
I discovered that "FileVault" was turned on and interfering with the file copy since the hard drive is encrypted. Simply go into security settings and turn off "FileVault" !
