Q: i did a stupid thing! can anyone help me recover from installing a cracked Pixel Film Studio plugin?
i did a horribly stupid thing: in the middle of editing a very high pressure client project, i gave in to my dark side and installed a cracked Pixel Film Studio plugin, which is now crashing FCPX (10.2.1) on start...not that i deserve anyone's help, but can anyone help me recover from installing this cracked plugin?
i've been a registered user of Final Cut since the original Final Cut Studio and have "upgraded" to FCPX a few years ago when it came out, but what i did today is really inexcusable, especially in the middle of a project and on my production machine!
i did quite a few hours of searching online, found some weird application that claims to remove Pixel Film Studio software from your Mac (kinda fishy), deleted the plugin from the Motion Templates folder in the "Movies" folder, trashed the Final Cut Pro preferences, but nothing seems to help...i desperately need help finding a way to restore FCPX back to working order (preferably without losing all my custom commands and presets)...would anyone be so kind as to help me?
i was going to post my crash report from FCPX but it is so long that i don't know whether etiquette permits pasting it here...so here is a link to it on my Dropbox:

Help me, please!

not sure what happened there, but i got it working again...here is how:
> started FCPX with Option key held down and created new Library called "Test"...FCPX launched without crashing
> quit FCPX and started it again, this time also without problem
> opened my current project's Library (the one with which it was crashing on launch), and FCPX kept running fine
> closed and re-opened FCPX, again without a glitch
> slapped myself for being so stupid and continued editing
lessen learned: don't do crack(s)!
