Q: Printing

I run the latest version of software on my MBP and iPads and iPhone. I have a Lexmark c543 printer.  I had to download Lexmark Listener to MBP in order for everything to work properly.

Up until perhaps 5 months ago (maybe when i installed mac's new Yosemite) I able to print with no problems to my Lexmark c543 printer from ANY device from within any program/APP.

I have tried everything I can think of, but i am still not able to print from any device....only from my computer will it still print OK (wirerless printing via express)

The networks are all the same. Everything is the same....except Yosemite so i probably know the why of not being able to print.....but I can not find a solution.  Can anyone please suggest something or give me ideas of what to do next.

thanks very much!

I've learned so much through these forums and have always had spot on replys for my questions.

So very sorry - i thought I had updated my profile. Yes, i am running Yosemite....10.10.3

What have I done.... deleated and reinstalled printer softwear. Reinstalled LexMark Listener. Checked firmwear on printer...up to date. My husbands printer shows up on all devices and will print. My printer does not show up as a selection. I reinstalled my 'network' with one extreme and several express devices...everything is working A-OK with my network. I have the fasted network speed availabe from our cable service.

I have been working on this perdicament since my return from FL where I spent 10 weeks during winter. Prior to that I cant remember what I did.  I am not new to the Mac world. Mac has been my go to computer since 1988. I spent almost 5 years working at an APPLE store in their 'family room' finding solutions to thousands of others with problems with their devices. Also, teaching users how to get started and best use their new device...computer, ipad or iphone.....with almost every application known to MAC.  So, i do have some  knowledge regarding what and how to do things when it comes to my computer. Granted, that was 4 years ago, but I still have some knowledge regarding computers...macs.

I take pride in finding my own solutions to my needs.  I just can not figure this one out.

Sorry for the late reply, I was OOT again.

Thanks for your interest and help.

And there is always the possibility that the Lexmark Listener is not compatible with Yosemite, and perhaps an updated version is available from Lexmark.
