Unfortunately backup only keeps the last three versions, so after six months I'm afraid it's more than likely that your conversations have been over written.

May 20, 2015 4:27 PM in response to Coreywlby Coreywl,I forgot to mention since deleted the conversation from my iPhone device I am positive my phone has been synced several times. If possible can the answer to this thread be answered in two ways. 1. The iPhone device has not been backed up since then 2. iPhone device has been backed by since the conversation was deleted. Much appreciated, and thank you fro your efforts and time.

May 20, 2015 4:38 PM in response to Coreywlby gail from maine,You would only be able to get it back by restoring your device to an iCloud backup that was made prior to the conversation being deleted. If it was backed up 6 months ago, and you have your device to do regular iCloud backups, then it is undoubtedly long gone. The only way to find out would be to Erase All Content and Settings on your device and then set it up using an iCloud backup. You could see if the list of backups go back to the timeframe you have in mind.
But also remember, that when your restore to that backup, everything that is backed up gets restored to your device, so anything in the list below would be overwritten with the older data:
Here’s what iCloud backs up:
- Purchase history for music, movies, TV shows, apps, and books
Your iCloud backup includes information about the content you have purchased, but not the purchased content itself. When you restore from an iCloud backup, your purchased content is automatically downloaded from the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store. Some types of content aren’t downloaded automatically in all countries, and previous purchases may be unavailable if they have been refunded or are no longer available in the store. For more information, see the Apple Support article iTunes in the Cloud availability by country. Some types of content aren’t available in all countries. For more information, see the Apple Support article What can I buy from the iTunes Store in my country?.
- Photos and videos on your iOS devices, unless you turn on iCloud Photo Library beta on your iOS 8.1 device. If you turn on iCloud Photo Library beta, your photos and videos are already stored in iCloud, so they aren’t included in your iCloud Backup.
- Device settings
- App data
- Home screen and app organization
- iMessage, text (SMS), and MMS messages
- Ringtones
- Visual Voicemail
Your iOS device backup only includes data and settings stored on your device. It doesn’t include data already stored in iCloud, for example contacts, calendars, bookmarks, mail messages, notes, shared photo albums, iCloud Photo Library beta, My Photo Stream, and documents you save in iCloud using iOS apps and Mac apps.
If you do decide to restore from an iCloud backup by going to Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content and Settings, be sure to create a current iCloud backup in case you need to restore it to where it currently is.
Best of luck,
GB
