May 20, 2015 3:34 PM in response to Lucia Giamancoby gail from maine,Not sure why you are just noticing this now if you have both devices signed onto the same iCloud account.
If you want to continue to share iTunes purchases you have a couple of choices aside from using the same Apple/iCloud/iTunes account:
1. Set up unique Apple IDs for each of you to be used for iCloud, Messages, FaceTime, but keep the existing iTunes Apple ID for your iTunes & App Store sign on
2. Set up a unique Apple ID for one of you, but continue to use the other persons ID for iTunes purchases. What this means is that when you sync the device via iTunes, you can select any purchased items in your shared iTunes library (both of you can have items in the library) to be sync'd to either device. You will just both need to know eachother's Apple ID password because when an app needs an update, it is going to need the password of the Apple ID that purchased the item

May 20, 2015 3:55 PM in response to Lucia Giamancoby gail from maine,Did you both have Contacts turned on in iCloud? If you did, then not sure how you would have gotten the blocked contact to be able to go through on the same iCloud account, regardless of the device. Blocked callers is based on the Apple ID, not the phone number.

May 20, 2015 4:00 PM in response to Lucia Giamancoby ChrisJ4203,It is very possible this has to do with continuity, if you are using the same Apple ID and on the same Wi-Fi network. I would check if you have the phone number and Apple ID checked off for using FaceTime. You can go to Setting>FaceTime>iPhone cellular calls>OFF.
This is only a guess, since as Gail has stated, I cannot see how blocking a call on one device would block on another. What happens when your husband removes the number from the block on his device, does it remove it from yours as well? You might also want to review the information in this support document about call blocking to see if it sheds any light on your situation. Block calls and block or filter messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

May 20, 2015 4:03 PM in response to ChrisJ4203by Lucia Giamanco,I Don't use FaceTime(it's shut off from restrictions)...but yes, I would block, and it would block on his phone too, then he would unblock & it would unblock them on my phone....

May 20, 2015 4:05 PM in response to Lucia Giamancoby ChrisJ4203,Even though you do not use FaceTime, you would find this setting, due to the new continuity features. You may have to go in and activate it long enough to turn that setting off. I've read of that having to be done, unless you do not experience the two of you receiving calls at the same time when on the same Wi-Fi connection, such as at home.

May 20, 2015 4:06 PM in response to Lucia Giamancoby gail from maine,OK, so you were not signed into iCloud before when you were not having this issue, correct? Because if you are both signed into the same iCloud account, and if you both have "Contacts" turned on in iCloud, then anything you do with a Contact (including blocking) is going to propagate to all devices signed onto that same iCloud account. If you sign out of iCloud altogether, or if you simply turn off the Contacts option in iCloud (under Settings>iCloud), then you won't have the issue.

May 20, 2015 4:18 PM in response to gail from maineby Lucia Giamanco,That plus the fact that when I looked at the email listed under the cloud it was the iTunes email & not my other email that used to be there...not sure how that changed because I didn't change it.
I Shut off the cloud acct on my phone. I dint need it.
I have no idea what you're talking about Chris...FaceTime is not under settings because it's shut off in restrictions...

May 20, 2015 4:35 PM in response to Lucia Giamancoby ChrisJ4203,Obviously you have not experienced being logged into the same Apple ID and on the same Wi-Fi network and when one phone rings, they both do. If you have not, then you have nothing to worry about. I'm sorry for interrupting.
