Q: The heart rate monitor on my watch has stopped working
I've had my Apple watch for just over a week now, and for the first 4 days or so it was tracking my heart rate on request no problem, and seemed to be logging results in the background every so often as expect. However, Since Sunday, it has stopped tracking it automatically, and whenever I go in to the heart rate app, it says "measuring..." for about a minute then just comes up with "try again. 84 BPM 3 days ago". Essentially, it's not been able to find a heart beat for 3 days....
Has anyone else had this issue or know how to fix it? I wasn't wearing the watch any differently, and have even tried it in a few different positions in case that was the reason.
I'll take it to a store if nobody comes back with an easy fix but perhaps I've missed something obvious?!
Thanks!

Try the basic trouble shooting steps from the manual:
Restart Apple Watch
If something isn’t working right, try restarting or resetting Apple Watch and its paired iPhone.
Restart Apple Watch. To turn off Apple Watch, press and hold the side button until the sliders appear, then drag the Power Off slider to the right. To turn Apple Watch back on, hold down the side button until the Apple logo appears.
Restart the paired iPhone. To turn off iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the slider appears, then drag the slider to the right. To turn iPhone back on, hold down the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
If you can’t turn off Apple Watch or if the problem continues, you may need to force Apple Watch to restart. Do this only if you’re unable to restart your Apple Watch.
Force Apple Watch to restart. Hold down the side button and the Digital Crown at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
