May 20, 2015 10:51 PM in response to StinkweedPaytonby StinkweedPayton,Well I've contacted HP and even been given an account for the second hand obsolete all-in-one and the rep informed me that I should purchase some ink. Which is I find hilarious because I had just finished reading a thread about how HP was using the magnetic strips on the ink to verify people were purchasing their specific and highly over-priced ink whilst another well-versed and highly technical gent was yelling "fox in the henhouse"...Since I paid nothing for the printer/scanner and nothing for the technical support, by the way her name is Ashley, I don't think I'm going to go high hog and spend the $25/black and $29/coloured inks. But I will cross my fingers. Thanks for your helpful suggestions and if it doesn't work then it's off to the landfill.
