Q: HP Deskjet F4235 All-in-One

On MacBook Pro with OS X Yosemite with all the required updates installed. The scanner works perfectly.The printer ink levels are reading GOOD. Paper is filled properly, no jams etc. It will go through all the motions except to put the ink on the paper. Am I missing something?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014), iOS 8.1.2

    I suggest you contact HP support since it's their product you're having issues with.

    Try cleaning the print heads. System Preferences/Printers & Scanners/Options & Supplies/Utility.

    Well I've contacted HP and even been given an account for the second hand obsolete all-in-one and the rep informed me that I should purchase some ink. Which is I find hilarious because I had just finished reading a thread about how HP was using the magnetic strips on the ink to verify people were purchasing their specific and highly over-priced ink whilst another well-versed and highly technical gent was yelling "fox in the henhouse"...Since I paid nothing for the printer/scanner and nothing for the technical support, by the way her name is Ashley, I don't think I'm going to go high hog and  spend the $25/black and $29/coloured inks. But I will cross my fingers. Thanks for your helpful suggestions and if it doesn't work then it's off to the landfill.
