Q: Will I lose access to my shared albums when I get a new iPhone?

I am going to replace my iPhone 4s with an iPhone 6 tonight. I have several shared photo albums I created and invited several people to. When I get my new phone, will these albums be lost? I would like to make sure that I and my friends will still have access, and that I will still control the album.

Hi anr0000,

In most cases, shared photo albums are shared from iCloud and should not be affected by changing devices. If you would like more information on iCloud Photo Sharing and/or transferring data to an new iPhone, you may find the following articles helpful:
