May 22, 2015 10:56 AM in response to Jbbttusmuby KiltedTim,Don't share an Apple ID for iCloud. They are not intended to be shared.

May 22, 2015 10:59 AM in response to Jbbttusmuby ChrisJ4203,★HelpfulGo into Settings>FaceTime>iPhone Cellular Calls>OFF. You will want to do it on both devices. You can share an Apple ID for purchases, but as KiltedTim points out, t can be difficult sharing the iCloud ID. It takes a lot of maintenance to do that with multiple devices.

We all share files. Can I use Family sharing to connect tow apple id's for Icloud?

May 22, 2015 7:46 PM in response to Jbbttusmuby KiltedTim,★HelpfulYou don't even need to do that if you don't want to. It's easy enough to use one ID for iCloud and a different ID for the app and itunes stores.

Jun 10, 2015 4:43 PM in response to Jbbttusmuby Builder1,★HelpfulI Am also having this issue. I have a work iPhone and a personal iPhone. Both have always been on the same account and must remain so. I have tried everything suggested in all my searching. Funny thing is, we have 6 iPhones in our household. All on the same iCloud account but for some odd reason only my two phones are sharing a call history list? The settings on all 6 phones are identical and all are updated. the whole reason I have a personal iPhone is to escape work on the weekends so I really want to find a way to stop this. Thanks to all!

Jul 8, 2015 2:38 PM in response to Builder1by acoxfcox,★HelpfulSame here on the same issue as you Builder1! I have 4 iphones, 2 ipads and my iMac all on the same apple id and until yesterday did not have this issue at all. I use find phone to see everyone all at the same time and share music and app purchases (has worked seamlessly for a long, long time). Now, not all, but some of our call logs are getting crossed on only 2 of the iphones...have checked all settings that have been mentioned and don't know why this is happening. I know that imessage and facetime specifically can be shared if on same account (ring/message multiple devices), but this is a call log...how the heck?!?!?
Anyways, please apple, let us know what's up?

Jul 9, 2015 9:36 AM in response to acoxfcoxby Mike and Stephanie,★HelpfulThe exact thing happened to us. My missed calls are showing up on my wife phone. Her phone does not ring but the missed calls are listed. They do not appear on our third iPhone. I noticed the date on your post as July 8, 2015. That is the same day it started to occur for us also.

Apple explicitly recommends against sharing an ID for iCloud. Stop doing that. You may not like it, but that's the way it is. If you choose to share an ID in that way, then you'll have to lie with the consequences.

Jul 15, 2015 11:29 AM in response to KiltedTimby northfamily5,Do you use iCloud for your family? If so, how long have you used it?
I have called Apple Support (multiple times) and they haven't "explicitly recommends against sharing an ID for iCloud". They have suggestions to try but have never said I can't do it this way.
Also during the multiple calls, they have been unable to help me set up Family Share! I have always loved apple for the ease of use of products/services. This is frustrating.

Jul 15, 2015 11:44 AM in response to Jbbttusmuby Philly_Phan,Sharing an Apple ID is always a mistake. Separate IDs with Family Sharing is a much better environment.

Apple indicates that the following is "what's up."
Can I share my Apple ID with someone else?
You shouldn't share your Apple ID with anyone else. It provides access to personal information including contacts, photos, device backups, and more. Sharing your Apple ID with someone else means you're giving them access to all your personal content, and it may lead to confusion about who actually owns the account.
To share photos, a calendar, iTunes purchases and more with someone else, try these sharing features.

Jul 15, 2015 12:04 PM in response to Philly_Phanby acoxfcox,Thank you for trying to help, but that "what's up" info you provided had nothing to do with this issue we are experiencing. You share a part of privacy and security, not issues with multiple devices. I know not so share my id with anyone else outside of those I trust that I don't want to have my information. In regards to the original issue, I was told by apple on phone and online conversation in the past that I could use same id's for iCloud so that I could see all devices on the same account...yes, this was before family sharing (acknowledged).
However, some good news for all. I can not say it is "Fixed", but I have not had the issue since resetting up all my devices from scratch for apple id stuff. This basically involved disconnecting all 7 devices from the apple id and giving them time in the back-end to be 'offline' (i.e.apple's servers). Then I set them up one by one with about 5 minutes between each one (this also fixed a separate issue around iCloud I was having). Hope they stay working this way forever!
Thanks
