Mar 1, 2015 9:58 AM in response to Dbax98by ctg1979,I have the same problem, took me 3 days to find the solution:
1. Go into iTunes store (need to be logged in)
2. On the homepage, go to "Purchased" right hand side right under "Music Quick Links" and "Account"
3. Now your purchased history will show up (not to confuse with the purchased playlist inside your local device).
4. On the top center; you should see something like "All" and "Not in My Library", select "Not in My Library" to find the missing songs.
5. On the bottom right, go should see "Download All", click on it and this should initiate the download immediately.
Hope this will solve it for you...

Mar 19, 2015 8:19 AM in response to Dbax98by weskus,I had the same problem. It says "purchased" but it is greyed out. I managed to sort this with the following:
1) Open iTunes on computer and sign in
2) At the top, towards the right, click on your name appearing with a small down arrow.
3) Click on Purchased
4) At the top click on the box "Not in Library"
5) There should be the song(s) that you purchased but for some reason didn't download to your library.
6) Click on the download-cloud icon showing on the wanted album cover and voila!
I am using OS X 10.9.5
Good luck!

Mar 22, 2015 4:47 AM in response to Dbax98by hedge36,Had similar problem. Go to iTunes Store. Click on Purchased. That'll give you a list of everything you've bought. From that list just click on any of the songs to download it. It'll then prompt you for your username and password. once that's in go back to your music and all the "Cloud" songs (i.e., previously bought and downloaded songs that are no longer on your device and "greyed out") should now be downloadable... it's just some problem with authenticating or something... won't do anything until you've put your user/password in...

Apr 21, 2015 12:37 PM in response to Jimzgoldfinchby zonkout,To Jim's and the others points this should work. If it isn't the issue with the hidden files being selected in Account quick link then going to library as Jim suggested works. It may not show in the not on this computer list though. I found the album I was looking for by going to the specific artist. It was there and then I clicked on the iCloud download icon and now its in my library on another Mac I own.

Jun 3, 2015 10:26 PM in response to Dbax98by AlottaBilotta,If you already purchased music but can't redownload it:
- go to the iTunes store
- search what you are trying to download
- (if price is listed for song) click the price
- it should say, you've already purchased it, would you like to redownload it.
- Hit yes (obviously)
You can download each song individually. The only thing i could not download was the "album only" content.
Apple please help with this!

This response worked up until step 5
1) Go to iTunes on computer
2) Go to iTunes store and "Sign in"
3) On the right hand side by " Qick Links " under that and click " Account " and sign in again.
4) You will your account information.
5) Go down you'll see " iTunes in iCloud" and click " Hidden Purchase" and go to " Manager" to "Unhidden"
