Q: Why aren't photos taken on my iPhone syncing with Photos on my MacBook Pro?

Why aren't photos taken on my iPhone syncing with Photos on my MacBook Pro? They are syncing with my iPad, but I can't see them on the Mac. I have the latest Operating system.

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

    What are your settings in Photos for mac?  Are you trying to sync with My Photo Stream or with iCloud Photo Library?

    Where are the "settings" in Photos for Mac? In iCloud Photo Library on my Mac I have got "Download Originals to Mac" on. I also have iCloud Photo Library activated.

    So you have iCloud Photo Library on your Mac enabled, but not My Photo Stream?  And on your iPad and iPhone?  Do you have iCloud Photo Library on the iPad and iPhone enabled or only My Photo Stream?

    You mobile devices may be syncing using My Photo Stream, but not uploading to iCloud Photo Library.
