May 23, 2015 10:40 AM in response to adamfrompontypriddby Niel,From the other account, choose Utilities from the Finder's Go menu, open the AppleScript Editor, and run:
do shell script "mv /Users/username/Desktop/ /Users/username/Desktop_old/" with administrator privileges
putting that account's home folder name where username is.

May 23, 2015 10:53 AM in response to Nielby adamfrompontypridd, sorry Niel I'm not very good at this, how do i put the admin privileges and folder name where user name is?

May 23, 2015 10:55 AM in response to adamfrompontypriddby Niel,Just replace both instances of 'username' with the affected account's short name. The script handles needing the administrator privileges itself.

May 28, 2015 1:49 PM in response to Nielby adamfrompontypridd, sorry for delay nil,
in the script i have copied the above script and changed the username to the following:-
mv/Users / kyliespear / desktop / Users / kyliespear / Desktop_old
if there is a way to access my iPhoto from the other user i could cope with not using the other user?

May 29, 2015 7:05 AM in response to adamfrompontypriddby Niel,You need to use:
do shell script "mv /Users/kyliespear/Desktop/ /Users/kyliespear/Desktop_old/" with administrator privileges
exactly as posted, including the quotes and exact spacing.

May 29, 2015 7:13 AM in response to adamfrompontypriddby Niel,You should now check the other account; it doesn't really matter whether or not you save the script.
