May 16, 2015 4:09 PM in response to lllaassby Noah,But here's the thing: It won't respond to anything on my computer. I've tried iTunes and none of it responded to my iPod. And is fixing my iPod's power button the only thing I can do?

May 17, 2015 1:57 AM in response to Noahby lllaass,Likely yes. The button could be stuck in the down postion preventing iTunes from seeing the iPod.
However, your iPod could have another hardware problem

May 21, 2015 3:43 PM in response to lllaassby Noah,By the way redsn0w was the app that bricked my iPod. And sooner or later I'll go to the Genius Bar at my local Apple Store to fix my power button. Or is the device too "outdated" for them or something?

May 25, 2015 5:48 AM in response to lllaassby Noah,My iPod is finally turned on! It was in DFU when I plugged it in to my computer. I think it's because I used Windows XP and I just installed Windows today. Was the fix to plug it into a computer that never used my iPod? Because that's what I did.
