Q: iTunes unable to Sync with iPhone (despite following all the directions)

iPhone 4s is unable to sync!

Tried Manual Manage Music & Videos, and iTunes keeps trying to duplicate certain songs that were purchased from the Apple Store.  Not all songs!  I understand that iTunes Sync will fail when it detects duplicate songs - thus iTunes is forcing the error on me.

Tried Auto Sync (Playlists because not enough memory for all content).  Same issue.  I even deleted all the songs getting duplicated front he playlists.  As I delete more songs that get duplicated by iTunes, other ones get added!

Any suggestions?

Thank you.

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.6

    There are 3 ways to sync with iTunes/Mac:

    by usb cable, by wifi, with icloud.

    I have the impression that you are doing icloud and one of the other methods at the same time.

    On the iPhone 4S:

    Settings->Music->"show all Music"

    turn this OFF

    (this means that on the iPhone only songs that are physically on your iPhone are shown).

    Now try again to sync with iTunes/Mac.
