May 25, 2015 7:23 PM in response to chezloveby ChrisJ4203,Is it possible the backup you did with the "old" phone had a newer iOS than the "new" phone? You cannot put a newer iOS backup on an older iOS device. You may have to update the "new" phone.

May 25, 2015 7:33 PM in response to chezloveby ChrisJ4203,You said that you can see the backup for the old phone. How are you seeing this? Are you in iTunes? Is the iOS on that phone you have plugged in the same as the one you are trying to restore to? You plug the phone you are trying to restore and can no longer "see" that backup? Are you sure the iOS on the two devices is the same? It seems you may be trying to rely on the name of the phone to locate the backup rather than the date itself.
