Q: Is there a way to share Photos with another device with a different ID but on the same account?

How can I share photos with my wife thru Photos? The search answers on here are all to old to be relevant.  Seems as I remember a way but can't quite get it right.

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)
