Q: Apple Watch ~ Customers with June Shipments!

Hi guys! I ordered a 42mm Space Grey Apple Watch Sport on April 11, 2015 ( 1 day after pre-orders went live ). I didn't do it right away as I wanted to try on the device first,

has anyone who had a June shipping date have there status changed from Processing items to preparing for shipment??

Thanks!

I Ordered my 38m Apple Watch with a leather band three weeks ago with a June 6th thru 11th ship date.  I received a notice yesterday that it will be here this afternoon.  I have an appointment tomorrow morning to let Apple Store set it up.  Not taking any chances for a problem.

Yes, it should ship within 24 hrs. Did in my case. Amex card charged Thursday 4/23 and actually delivered 4/24 (Day 1). Took a few hours after charge for status to change from Processing to Preparing to Ship. And all this was much advanced over est ship dates of 5/12-5/24 which I got from having placed ore-order 4/10 just 13 minutes after opened 3:00 a.m. EDT in NY.

Congrats! Be on the lookout for yours v shortly!

Mine 42 mm Sport. Now still awaiting Milanese Loop which I expect to be moved up from 6/22-6/27, ordered 4/22. I do think most will be advanced.

I ordered my Sport Black with Black band May 21st with original delivery of 4-6 weeks. The delivery gradually shortened to 4-5 weeks and yesterday changed to 2-3 weeks! Seems like they are pushing them out quicker

FFor anyone hopping to get their watches sooner than June 16th I highly doubt you will or if you do it will be rather close to June 16th...

Heres my estimated reasoning why: they still haven't finished the May 29- June 11 orders and they won't finish those until the day of June 11th... Then they will start filling in the June 16-22 orderes. A lot of people complaining on this apple community are people that preordered the watch almost 2 weeks after preordered started. Some people complaining even got their watches in late April or even MAY. Guys... You have nothing to complain about. I Preordered my watch on April 11 and still got a JUNE 16-22 shipment. If anything, they will ship people's ordered watches like mine first before even thinking about people who got theirs 2 weeks after preorders started and later. I've waited almost 2 months and some of you guys waited more like 2-4 weeks. I hate to get you hopes down but that's just the freaking truth... This preorder ***** and apple is getting mad customers from it

Ordered my sport in space gray 38mm on 5/24. Apple said to expect shipment between 6/17-6/24.  Yesterday, the expected shipment date got bumped to 6/10-6/17.  I'm hoping it will get bumped one more time!  Would like to take this with me on vacation!

    Hey Ryanvaldes,

I agree with some of what you say. However, I think it is really difficult to tell what is going on with Apple Watch shipments due to the various models having different delivery times, and the fact that many on this board do not specify which model/band they have ordered, only their delivery times and changes.

In my case I ordered a 42MM SS with black leather band on April 18th, and now have the same promised delivery (2 - 3 weeks) as if I ordered today. How can this be? One possibility might be that they have switched one of the components in the watch and this created a delay. However, the fact that some of the models continue to have reasonably short deliver dates suggests otherwise. Another possible explanation is simply that their forecast for the SS models was way off, and they are now expecting a GIANT delivery from China in two weeks, so they can not only fill the back ordered watches, but many of the current orders as well. This also suggest that there may have been very few orders since April 18th.  Only Apple could answer this question, and they do not seem willing to say. And yes, this does Pi$$ me off. I think often about cancelling. I really do not appreciate the lousy service Apple is providing. Tim Cook is not really Steve Jobs. Steady decline in product quality since death of Jobs. Consider the IOS releases with significant bugs, and same for Mac OS X. Sad, but true.

    John
