May 26, 2015 3:21 PM in response to nbrunby sberman,You have told us nothing about possible activities you might have done between having the card appear and not appear.
For example, a restore of your device might cause the card to disappear.
Why worry about it? Can you simply add the card to Apple Pay again?

May 27, 2015 10:47 PM in response to nbrunby Baumer,Did you disable your passcode or sign out of iCloud? Both of those cause your Apple Pay cards to be deleted.

May 28, 2015 4:52 AM in response to Baumerby nbrun,Thank you. I don't recall signing out of of iCloud but it is good to know this. I did reload the card (a debit card) into Passbook and I was told I had to call the bank and verify it again. Is that normal since I had already done that previously? And the problem seems more complicated. When I used Apple Pay (at Whole Foods) I got a receipt, the charge showed in Passbook and it appeared all was well. But no sign of that charge has ever shown up in my debit account.

May 29, 2015 8:16 PM in response to Baumerby AC34,That was helpful because I experienced the same thing. However, I often turn off my passcode when I am going to be home for extended times (I work from home). So every time I disable the passcode, I'm going to have to reinstall my credit card on Apple Pay? That's not very convenient. Do you know of a work-around?

May 29, 2015 8:22 PM in response to AC34by ChrisJ4203,The only workaround is to keep the passcode on your device. The reason it disables like that is because you have disabled the security on your device. Is does that to protect you. An active passcode on the iOS device is required for Apple Pay.

May 29, 2015 8:24 PM in response to ChrisJ4203by AC34,OK. The last line of your response makes it clearer for me. I understand the security need, but I guess I didn't realize that the two were linked in that way. Thanks for your help.

May 29, 2015 8:30 PM in response to AC34by ChrisJ4203,This link is for setting up Apple Pay, and as you can see in the beginning that Touch ID or passcode is needed for setup. Set up and use Apple Pay on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support I understand the desire to remove the passcode at home, but I find that with my device and Touch ID set up, I can get into the iPhone just as quickly, if not quicker than swiping the screen. Tapping on the home button with a registered finger can open the phone very easily, and no matter what I'm doing, I know it is protected by the passcode.
And, you are very welcome. Enjoy your device.

May 30, 2015 12:08 AM in response to nbrunby nancyPrice,i don't want to repeatedly call the bank to verify my cards once a card is verified. Is there another way? ( I didn't do anything with my passcode the cards just disappeared from my watch but still on my phone.)
