Q: Iphone 5s double tap cannot close apps lose responsiveness

I have an iPhone 5s with 8.3 and an Apple Watch. In the past couple of days my iPhone is exhibiting very bad behavior, lack of responsiveness, and rapid battery drain. Behaviors seen:

- Upon double tap of home button do see apps, but cannot close any of them

- Upon double tap responsiveness is lost - may or may not respond after many seconds or a minute passes

- iMessages aren't sending via wifi or cell network

- Weather and other apps aren't showing up on Apple Watch

- Hot hot phone

I have rebooted, hard rebooted. Have not reset settings yet. Thinking of a trip to the genius bar.

Your iPhon seems to be showing that your battery is not working properl, and to fix the doable tap try turning on Accessive Touch. If that doesn't work your iPhones LCD is damaged perh from drops. The LCD is located under the slee/wake button.
