Q: Windows 8.1 Bootcamp Factory Reset
Hi All,
I have been using windows 8.1 on my mac for about 2 months now, and am thinking about doing a factory reset due to the amount of viruses, and malware that are on my bootcamp partition. I have almost nothing important on there, so this was my first instinct. I have a few questions on this that I need answered before I do this, just to make sure I don't wipe my hard drive and other things.
1. Does a factory reset on windows 8.1 bootcamp erase other partitions besides the Bootcamp partition.
2. Will I need a ISO image/CD when I reset it.
3. Does a factory reset get rid of viruses, malware, spyware etc on that partition.
4. What is the best way to prevent my computer from being infected again.
5. Will I need my product key, and if so, will the one I used for windows originally work.
6. Is this the best way to fix windows.
