Q: There is a delay, like and echo. Can this be fixed? It's not very useful the way it is.

The live listen feature lets you use the iPhone as a microphone for your hearing aids.  The problems is there is delay where I hear the sound first directly, then with a delay like an echo, through my hearing aid.  I have tried using this at meetings but that is intrusive. I have also tried this with listening to the TV but the echo is too distracting.  This could be useful without the delay. Is this a problem with my iPhone 6 (8.3) or my Starkey Halo hearing aids or is this just current state of the art?

    Have you disabled the Halos microphones when you are using Live Listen? If not, you are not hearing an echo, but you are hearing two distinct channels of sound - one over the air directly to your Halos, the other over the air to your iPhone and then on to your Halos. It is the second that causes the apparent "echo." You can manually mute the microphones via the TruLink app by tapping on the Microphone icon at the bottom right hand corner of the initial screen. If you want it to mute the microphones automatically, you will need to go to TruLink ->Settings->Auto-Streaming (ON), then tap Other->Streaming under Automatic Memory, then Mute under HA Mic Volume.
