Q: Secure link to iTunes store failed

I can't restore my iPod shuffle because i can't connect to update server. I connect and download songs from store without problem. Running diagnostics get the "secure link to iTunes store failed" message. I have followed all of the suggested steps to correct this and turned of firewalls, but still get the same error. Any suggestions?

Hello vascuguy,

After reviewing your post, it sounds like you are not able to update the iPod because of a secure network connection issue. You can still download content though. Are you trying to update the iPod while it is conected to the computer in iTunes? I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.
