Q: Can I use power supply from Black MacBook (2007) with MacBook Pro 9,2?
I have recently bought a new MacBook Pro (type 9,2). Previously I was using a Black MacBook (approx 2007). I still have a working power supply block for the black one. Can I use it to power the new MacBook Pro?

“You should use the appropriate wattage power adapter for your Apple notebook. You can use a compatible higher wattage adapter without issue, but it won't make your computer charge faster or operate differently. Lower wattage adapters will not provide enough power.”
