Good to know.  I had a huge problem chewing through data like crazy.  Way more than my husband's Android.  Hopefully this will help.

When I buy my brand new iPad Air 2 128 GB WiFi + Cellular I update iOS to iOS 8.1.3 And my battery draining very fast from 100% to 1% I think I can use my new iPad only 4 hours. But not 10 hours. About 10 hours I think I can only dream! And I turn off almost everything! Except WiFi and motion. (I set my brightness level to 100% because I like bright screen.)  My old iPad 2 can working until now about 5 hours! But my new iPad Air 2 can't? Apple I hope you will fix that battery drain in the new iOS update. And my iPad Air 2 become very warm when I play a social online game Line Play, and my brightness level decreasing when my iPad Air 2 become warm. I know that a sign when iPad is to warm but it's not intensive game! I can't even watch more then 4+ hours my music videos.

I Dont have any issues at all. I am at 8.3 and nothing happens it only gets warm once in a while when using it but no problems at all so must be some sort of problem with some iphones.

well thats your problem right there. Apple only measure the length of time before it runs out on the lowest brightness. You should bring brightness down about 50-60% and that will help

I used my old iPad 2 with brightness 100% everyday before I buy iPad Air 2 and my iPad 2 with brightness 100% worked even more then 10 hours! ( I remember as I used my iPad 2 when I flew to the Rome) And I have many iPads and iPhones and they working on iOS 6-7 with brightness 100% and they not loose so much battery as my brand new iPad Air 2.  And I am pretty shure this is ios 8 issue. And as I know even if the brightness will be st at 0% you will never notice that your battery working longer.  Not so much difference.

Many of us who participated in this thread had the issues resolved with the update to iOS 8.3. Since updating to iOS 8.3, my battery lasts almost 2 days with general use. Now, I don't keep my brightness at 100%. More like 70%. Also, I removed the Facebook app from my phone and only access Facebook thru Safari now. I don't know if that helped or not, but my battery life has been fantastic since the update. if you haven't updated to iOS 8.3, you need to give it a try.

This all happend after I updated  to iOS 8.1.3. And I don't use Facebook, I hate this app.  And not only I experienced this problem, all people on this topic have the same battery drain after update 8.1.3.

I Understand, but what I am saying is you should update your device to version 8.3,  This is an update to version 8.1.3 And is the latest update from Apple. So update to 8.3.

Are you using an iPhone 4S? I was having problems after first updating to iOS 9.0.1 however 9.0.2 seems to be much better. I would suggest updating to 9.0.2 if you haven't already.

The key, I believe, is to set up your phone as a new iPhone through iTunes. Do not use the OTA option. Also, try not to use a backup file to restore your iPhone. You will have to manually re-add all of your apps, email accounts, etc. It's a pain, but it seems to work.

On iOS 9.0.1 my 4S battery was draining at 5% per hour without using it, and about 20% per hour while using. Since updating to 9.0.2, I am back to getting a day and a half or two days of medium usage from my iPhone.
