Q: online, no location available on map

Hi ,

I hav macbook pro retina, 10.10.3 os.When I open map app in mac book, it couldn't locate my location on map.Due to this it also fails to give navigation help.

I have checked all the setting required to location on map, but nothing worked.

In my iPhone I can locate my iphone but not my macbook(even both are on same wifi network).

Navivation also not working in Iphone but can locate my iPhone on map.

Error comes in Iphone map as route can not be determined.

Already checked lots of forums, but got nothing helpful.

Need help....Many Thanks in Advance~

Location Services (including Maps and "Find My Mac") relies on a database of known Wi-Fi access points. You don't have to be connected to a wireless network, but Wi-Fi must be turned on and within range of one of those access points. Otherwise the machine won't be located at all, or the location will be wrong. Sometimes the location will be wrong because the database contains inaccurate data. According to reports, if you connect to a network with an iPhone, its location will be reported to Apple and added to the database after a delay. I can't confirm.
