Q: macbook is not starting at all

Dear All,

My MacBook white (early 2008) was working properly , but one day it stopped and started beeping. The reason was one of the RAM was damaged, and I changed it. after few months again it is stopped and started beeping. I again changed the RAM.

But this time it is not starting at all. When i press start button, there is just black screen and no starting tone. All I can observe is spinning of hard disk and fan.  I tried few pairs of RAM, but result is same.

Also , i tried all possible shortcuts of booting options. But the MacBook is not responding to any of them. I have lion bootable USB, but system is not booting with it. it is just black screen all the time.

Please help me, if my MacBook can work again.

MacBook (13-inch Early 2008), Mac OS X (10.7.2)

If you're sure that you're using good quality, compatible ram, it's likely that you have a hardware failure. If you're just swapping sticks you may have laying around from a different computer or getting the cheapest stuff you can find that's not going to work.

Make an appointment at your nearest Genius Bar or AASP and take your MacBook in for a diagnostic and estimate.
