Q: apple TV will not connect to Wi

Apple TV connected to Wifi previously and suddenly stopped.  Wifi works elsewhere in the house.  I have power cycled Apple TV and router already.  I even reset Apple TV settings.  Help please!

You'll need to provide some details as we can't see your setup.

    What type of router?

What do you see if you go into the Network settings on the ATV?

    Which ATV do you have?

2nd generation Apple TV.  I have an Airport router.  I can see the network and signal strength in the Network menu of the Apple TV settings, but the Apple TV will not "connect" to it.

By "Reset Apple TV settings" I assume you mean you did a "Reset All Settings". If that didn't do the trick, the only other option along those lines is a factory reset. If that doesn't do it, and assuming the signal is good, the password is right, etc., my best guess is a hardware problem (radio).

Is there any chance of running an Ethernet cable to it, even just temporarily as a test?
