Q: My screen is flickering.
I not even an hour ago had a completely different problem with my Mac fixed on here.
My issue was solved by rebooting my Mac in safe mode. I was instructed to Shut down my Mac > wait ten seconds > power on > wait for the power on tone > then hold down the shift key > and let go when the Apple icon appeared.
It solved the problem I had before but now my screen violently flickers when I go on certain websites. Not here for instance, no matter how fast I scroll. It does flicker on sights such as Youtube and Facebook, even with minimal movement. It's a shuddery flickering, kinda boxy looking. Weirdly enough, my keyboard light is not working now.
Does anyone know what's up? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
You can try an SMC reset. Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support
If that does not fix it, try PRAM reset. OS X Yosemite: Reset your computer’s PRAM
