Q: "Footprints" on iMac screen (traces of the program after closure)
Hi there.
It seems that different programs leaves "footprints" or traces (call it what you want) of the program after it's closed on my iMac screen. Take a look at the two pictures attached. It's sort of looks like a green color. I have shut it down after the first appearance, and it was gone. But then after using Safari again, it left a new "footprint".
My iMac 27", 2013, is running OS X Yosemite v. 10.10.3 - It's a 3,2 GHz Intel Core i5, RAM: 8G 1600 Mhz, with a NVIDIA GeForce GT 7555M, 1024 MB.
So far it's been Safari and Spotify which have left some "footprints" behind. Safari is running v. 8.0.6 - Spotify is running v. 1.0.6.80.g2a801a53.
The third picture attached is what happened while writing this post. I don't know if you guys can see it, but it's the browser with this site running. As I can see it looks like it's only Safari is leaving the most "footprints". No other program expect for Safari and Spotify is doing it.
Any idea? The computer works fine, so far, but I'm just afraid that in short time the screen will be all f**ked up.
Cheers,
Alex
