Q: "Error Downloading Photo" message

After uploading photos from my iPhone 6 to the Photo app via the cloud, most of the times I get this error message "An error occurred while downloading a larger version of this photo for editing. Please try again later." This only happens with my MacBook Pro, not my iMac. The full versions I can see no problem in iCloud, but with my MacBook pro it's an issue. Can anybody help me or have see a similar message?

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

Backup your photos and open the app with Command and Option keys pressed.

Tried this 5 time and had the same problem. Images are fine they only fail to become editable after I try to open in Photo
