If you create a slideshow using iPhoto (by selecting photos), is there a maximum number of photos allowed or can you use as many as you want?

Q: Is there a maximum number of photos allowed in a slideshow?
Is this with iPhoto on you're Mac or iPhoto on your mobile device?. Why do you ask? Are you having problems?
