Q: Final Cut Express 2.0 Configuration Error--Missing AGP graphics card

Can't seem to get FCE2.0 working properly. Says I'm missing the AGP graphics card, but when I run the hardware diagnostics there is no problem with it. I thought FCE2.0 would work with the Intel processor.

Any ideas how to fix this?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.7)

FCE2 predates the MacBook Pros (Intel based systems) by quite a long time. Other users have had similar difficulties. If I recall correctly, you can just ignore the error message. But search the Forum, you will find out what other people have done.

I would suggest, however, that you upgrade to v 3.5 for your MacBook Pro. It's the UB version and runs much better on the Intel systems.

For the $99 Upgrade fee you get a far superior program plus the mind-blowing LiveType and Soundtrack.

In any case FCE2 is likely to work slowly and generally be unsatisfactory on your MBP.
