Q: Battery save on iPhone 4s

I Have an iPhone 4s running the latest version of iOS 8.3. I wanted to know if I like close all of my apps runing will it use all of my battery or do I leave then running in the background?

    Few apps actually run in the background,  Those would include audio streaming (you'll hear them), navigation and those that track your location.  Close those.  The others are frozen for rapid task switching and consume no battery or other resources.

     

    Some apps refresh or update in the background and consume battery, even if not opened and appearing after double-clicking the home button.  You can disable this in Settings > General > Background App Refresh

    So should I leave the app in the background so that they won't consume my battery if I keep closing them?
